There’s a good chance our walls would be less bare had we better ways of hanging up posters and pictures. Finding frames we like is hard enough, and we’re a little beyond pushing tons of pins into bare plasterboard. And that’s where OpenFrame comes in. These minimal, elegant frames are made using a combination of birch plywood, birch veneer, plus stainless steel, and rigged to look like a simple slab of birch. Affixing images to an OpenFrame is accomplished via small and strong rare earth magnets that can be positioned as needed over any part of the board, thanks to the underlying stainless steel.
Available at Kickstarter in either natural birch, black stain or white stain – $35 to $150
