Langley Churchkey

General Manufacturing Concern’s Langley Churchkey is not in any way ordinary, but then nothing they produce really is. The Churchkey starts as a long brass beam that’s then bent twice and internally reinforced with a rivet before being filed and tumbled, all by hand in Brooklyn, no less. The result is a solid, satisfyingly hefty bottle opener that abounds with craftsmanship (and accompanying aesthetics) long supplanted by cheap, automated foreign labor.
