Grooming Tips

One of the keys to success when it comes to attracting the opposite sex is being well-groomed. However, that doesn’t mean throwing on your favorite clothes and some expensive cologne.

Remember, women are hawks. So if you take any shortcuts, they will know it. If you are concerned about how much it will cost to up your grooming game, don’t!

Basic grooming is about using the right techniques and products in the right way. In the following post we will help prove this, by giving you hints and tips in various areas of grooming.

Head and Hair

Smelly, greasy hair is not going to attract the woman of your dreams, so shampoo every couple of days. That being said, if you don’t sweat a lot or have especially dry hair, you could extend that to every 2 to 3 days. If you suffer from dandruff, invest in an anti-dandruff shampoo.

Facial Hair

Although not everyone loves beards, the women that do are hardly going to find your scraggy unkempt on the hottest thing ever. So take better care of it by sculpting and trimming it often. Use beard oils and beard balm to ensure it looks and feels nourished and not frizzy and dry.

If you don’t have the time or patience for proper beard grooming or can’t grow one, opt for staying clean shaven. Remember to trim those pesky nose and ear hairs you don’t like to talk about as there is nothing worse for a woman than leaning in to kiss you only to discover your nostril bush.

Skin

You need to not only wash and moisturise your skin daily, but need to exfoliate the grime and dead skin cells on a weekly or monthly basis. Keep in mind that facial skin is more delicate than skin on other parts of your body, so use mild exfoliators and cleansers.

Mouth and Teeth

Although kissable lips will entice a woman in for more, if you don’t have a fresh breath and sparkling white teeth; they may not come back for more. Brush your teeth two times a day and floss them at least once. Rinse with mouthwash for a fresher breath. With stained teeth, you could try using stain removal products, whitening toothpaste or a plethora of natural ingredients.

Feet and Hands

While you don’t want your hands to be too soft, you still want to avoid calluses and rough skin. A callus shaver or pumice stone can be used once every week to help get rid of dry skin and calluses.

Use mild soap for your hands and feet, rinsing them thoroughly and then moisturize either petroleum jelly or moisturizer into them. Don’t neglect your finger and toenails, trimming them on a weekly basis to look neat and tidy.

Body Odour

You can prevent bad odours by washing once or twice a day, and smell nice using a mildly-scented deodorant or aftershave. Don’t do what many do, skipping the shower and using perfume or deodorant to mask odour, it makes you smell worse.

If you sweat excessively you could invest in a decent antiperspirant body spray or try using things like baking soda or vinegar to control perspiration and the subsequent smells.

We hope you see now that being well-groomed and attractive to the opposite sex is not just about looking smart and wearing great clothes (along with a nice watch). With the tips above though, you are now well-equipped to take your grooming game to the next level and appeal better to women.
