Marshall is a brand synonymous with old-school rock and roll sound. If you’ve ever been to a concert, or indeed visited any music store, you’ve more than likely seen their amplifiers and speakers. Now, the company is getting the band back together with three re-designed models featuring a wider soundstage that deliver sound ‘so wide it chases you around the room’. Talk about an immersive experience!

Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker is the most compact (a nice way of saying the smallest) speaker in the new lineup. Featuring Marshall’s signature design, it is unassuming enough to fit in any space and to go with any décor. The powerful sound is what makes it stands out.

Acton III Technical Specifications:

  • Frequency range 45–20,000 Hz
  • Bluetooth range 30 ft
  • Wireless connectivity Bluetooth 5.2
  • Mains input voltage 100–240 v
  • Mains frequency 50–60 Hz
  • Dimensions: 10.24 x 6.69 x 5.91 in
  • Weight 6.28 lb

Small But Mighty

Acton III has that classic rock and roll Marshall look we are used to with subtle but attractive details like Marshall script and brass control knobs.

The speaker is very simple to use: you can immediately pair up and play without having to deal with a complicated setup, as pretty much everything you need is right there on the speaker itself.

Acton III has a wider soundstage than its predecessor, delivering room-filling signature Marshall sound. The tweeters on this new Acton are tilted outwards, and the waveguides have been redesigned to create a more consistent sound. The speaker also comes with Dynamic Loudness, which adjusts the tonal balance so that what you are playing sounds great at any volume.

As this is a next-generation speaker, it delivers new Bluetooth features the moment they are available through Over-the-Air (OTA) updates via the app (available for both iOS and Android).

The Buy

The new Marshall lineup just might knock all other speakers off the shelf and we are totally here for it! The classic Black variant is available right now at a price of $279.99, with the shipping planned for June 23rd. The cream and brown variants are expected to become available in the fall.
