Lamborghini Aventador S

One look at the Lamborghini Aventador S spec sheet and you mightn’t think we’re shifting to a largely electric future — but then, this Lamborghini flagship isn’t your average daily driver, and eco-consciousness isn’t very high on its list of priorities. The updated model boasts a 740 horsepower naturally aspirated V12 engine, 40 more than its predecessor and enough to go 0 to 62 in 2.9 seconds. Around its carbon fibre monocoque chassis the design is refined to increase downforce, cooling, and decrease turbulence, all while looking as aggressive as ever. It’s got not only four-wheel drive but also magnetorheological active suspension to compensate for roll and four wheel steering, a technology inspired by their Japanese rivals and that uses two electromechanical actuators to steer the rear wheels for greater stability at speeds and a tighter wheelbase while moving slow. Couple all of this with a ludicrously luxurious interior and you won’t want to climb out.
