By Billy Brown

Billy Brown
Billy Brown has a problem sitting still. His constant search for the next challenge has him doing everything from running ultramarathons and climbing 14er’s to gaining 40 pounds to compete in powerlifting, breaking several state records and growing a killer beard in the process. With over a decade of writing under his belt, his work, covering action sports, gear, and beer, can be found in a variety of publications. He lives with his wife and their two cats in Sacramento, California.

There’s no shortage of Marvel-based LEGO builds. Plenty more are on their way, but one of the most powerful ones yet just became available for preorder. You might recognize Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet from the Marvel movies; or if you’re old-school, from the 1991 comic book series. An authentic recreation of the iconic Marvel totem, the LEGO Infinity Gauntlet (76191) sports articulating fingers, all six Infinity Stones, and a stand with a descriptive tablet.

The majority of the Infinity Gaunlet build is made up of shiny golden LEGO bricks. Bright, translucent, colored bricks represent the six Infinity Stones. The 590 bricks are enough to make building a challenge without becoming monotonous or frustrating. Users should be able to finish this bad boy in a build session or two. (We challenge any LEGO Maniacs out there to zoom through the set, then tell us your time on social media!)

Displaying the LEGO Infinity Gauntlet

Recommended for adults aged 18 and up, the LEGO Infinity Gauntlet is the newest offering from LEGO’s line of display sets. The majority of sets are bust profiles, like the LEGO DC Batman Cowl (76182), the LEGO Iron Man Helmet (76165), or the LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Helmet (75034). Showcasing a glove versus a head or helmet presents a departure from the bust theme.

At just over a foot high, the build makes for an excellent display piece. And the articulating fingers should make for some entertaining poses (we can think of a few good ones already). The Infinity Gauntlet LEGO set for adults is a great decorative piece for Marvel fans. And the finished piece would be perfect for the office, home, or home office.

Purchase and Pre-Order Notes

The LEGO Infinity Gauntlet will retail for $70 and is available for preorder at multiple retailers. It’s staled for release on August 1. We’d recommend picking it up early since preorders are already selling out at some online shops.
