1. Take A Cruise On The Thames

One of the best ways to view any city from an interesting perspective is to take a cruise. London has always been an exciting and vibrant city so why not take a cruise along The Thames to see the city in all its glory? As stunning as it looks by day, a cruise at night is something to behold.

2. Take A Tour Of The Palace

Buckingham Palace is without a doubt, the most famous royal residence in the world and it is an iconic aspect of London. Daily tours of the palace are available and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to witness the changing of the guard or even catch a glimpse of a member of the royal family.

3. Stroll Through Hyde Park

One of the best known and possibly the largest park in London is Hyde Park. The park has been a popular meeting place for many protests, and has quite a number of memorial aspects, water features and a whole lot more. Oxford Street is the place to go if you want to get in a little shopping while visiting London. Apart from being the hottest place to shop, it’s also the street that has the highest number of shopping traffic in Europe. With over 300 shops, Oxford Street attracts over half a million shoppers almost every day. If you’re visiting during the holidays, Oxford Street really looks amazing during Christmas and it’s an amazing place for purchasing Christmas gifts.

The UK is famous for its pub culture and nowhere is this more popular than in the nation’s capital. There are literally thousands of pub in London so after you’ve explored the city and enjoyed some good British food, relax with a pint of one of the UK’s famous strong beers like Stout or one of the many fine ales available on tap.
