We’ve largely given up trying to read books on our LCD devices – it’s just not as comfortable or as natural as real paper or e-ink displays. Unlike mainstream smartphones, YotaPhone finds a solid middle ground without the sacrifices normally made by having a device with either type of display, since it’s equipped with both a 4.3-inch 720×1280 LCD display on the front side and an equal-sized B&W electronic paper display (EPD) on the other. The EDP also shows you notices, texts, missed calls, calendar appointments, and the like, always on and updating in real-time thanks to its power-sipping properties. Else, it packs a dual core 1.7GHz Krait processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage, an LTE antenna, and a 13MP autofocus camera.
