The Trailblazer – Fire Pit And Grill
A portable grill and fire pit saves a lot of time and effort in setting up meals while camping. It’s more efficient with the fuel and safer for the environment, too. The Trailblazer’s 2-in-1 Fire Pit And Grill adds enjoyment to the outing while promoting efficiency and reducing impacts on the landscape.
2-in-1 Fire Pit and Grill
The Trailblazer combines the benefits of having a fire pit and grill during your camping experience. It’s designed to let you cook delicious meals and then enjoy a warm campfire later.
The fire pit’s walls are scalloped stainless aluminum that envelops the fire, shielding it from wind and preventing flare-ups. It also helps contain heat, coals, and ashes. The patented firebox floor pan is a stainless steel mesh that contains 99% of the ashes and allows airflow for a nearly smokeless burn.
Under the firebox, an aluminized fiberglass heat shield protects the ground or tabletop from damage, secured by heat resistant hook and loop fasteners. This feature prevents the burn scarring typical an outdoor fire pit.
The cooking surface is a food-grade 304 stainless steel that folds for storage and can support 20 pounds.
The cross-braced frame collapses; the entire set up fits into a 4″ x 4″ x 14″ storage sack and only weighs 3.2 pounds.
- Materials: stainless steel and aircraft aluminum
- Meets federal fire pan regulations
- Lifetime warranty on the frame, ember guards, and folding grill; 1-year warranty for the fire mesh
- MSRP: $100
The Trailblazer sets up in a minute or two, without tools, yet provides a steady camping grill and first pit, with the added benefit of the protective heat shield to prevent damaging the site or picnic table. The stainless mesh bottom pan provides airflow to help achieve a smokeless burn, and it’s super compact when folded, making it a no-brainer to haul along on your next outing.
The limited 11″ x 11″ cooking area makes the Trailblazer fit for one or two campers, but no more.
But this compact grill and firepit gets the job done for small groups and does it without damaging the campsite.
