Surface Pro X
The line between a tablet and a smartphone is getting thinner every day. With the introduction of the Surface Pro X, this line gets even blurrier. This latest Microsoft creation behaves like a high-end smartphone. However, it still packs the operating system that MS is known for the world over.
The Surface Pro X is a 13-inch tablet that features a Snapdragon processor. What makes it quite unique is that Qualcomm customized the SQ1 Arm chip specifically for Microsoft. This is not a run-of-the-mill kind of processor that you can see in high-end mobile device. The tech giant’s goal is to provide users with a smartphone-like experience, leveraging on the power of the Windows platform.
The Surface Pro X features thin bezels. It is a 13-incher, yet it has the footprint of a 12-inch tablet. It is also lightweight at only 1.7 pounds. While it has a display resolution of 2880 x 1920, its pixel density is still not the ideal at only 267 ppi. Microsoft includes the redesigned Surface Slim pen in the Pro X. You will never lose this mighty pen as it has its own dock right on the keyboard.
The Surface Pro X also comes with the 5th generation of WiFi technology, utilizing Qualcomm’s X24 LTE modem. It features a removable SSD hard drive, available in 128, 256, and 512 GB configurations. One can also choose between an 8 or a 16 GB RAM. Both feature LPDDR4X technology.
There is a pair of 2-watt stereo speakers and another pair of far-field Studio Mics. A 5-MP shooter is at the front, while a 10-MP rear shooter is capable of shooting 4K-quality videos.
Working on office tasks anywhere is now made super-easy with the Microsoft Surface Pro X. It is powerful enough to take the burden off your desktop PC.
