Stator
With its two humongous wheels plus the absence of any contraption that resembles anything like a motor, engine, or a chain drive, the Stator is the kind of wheels that is guaranteed to magnetize anyone. Designed for instant recognition, the Stator is a revolutionary gigantic self-balancing scooter that redefines the way we think about these rides.
It looks very much like a kiddie scooter with two wheels positioned on opposite ends of the deck and a solitary rod sticking upward from the front wheel going to the handlebar. There’s just one issue. The Stator is one mighty gigantic scooter.
What you don’t know is that underneath its humongous deck is a brush-less DC Direct Drive 3-Phase electric motor that produces a maximum of 1,000 watts. The super-quiet and efficient motor is mated to the rear wheel, giving it a top speed of 25 MPH and a maximum effective range of 20 miles on a single charge. It usually takes about 4 hours to charge this behemoth, although it can be hastened to 1.2 hours if you use the optional fast charger.
With a frame that is made of 4130 Chromoly tubing, the Stator is surprisingly light at only 90 pounds yet strong enough to handle a fully-grown man weighing up to 250 lbs. Fully integrated on the handlebar are a bevy of controls that are designed to be very unobtrusive to retain the deceiving looks of the Stator. There’s the throttle arming, horn multi-function, main power key lock, bar control unit, twist throttle, and power indicator LEDS all lined up in a neat configuration on the handlebar. You won’t even know they’re there.
And speaking of the handlebar, this can be easily folded onto the deck of the Stator so you can easily transport the behemoth or store it in really tight spaces. The super-wide and large tires give it stability, although there is already a self-balancing mechanism fully integrated into the Stator.
If you want to make a statement as you cruise by the park or by the beach, the Stator is the perfect ride for you.
