Sony XBR-A1E Bravia OLED Television

It’s name isn’t memorable, but its ultra thin, minimal profile definitely is, not to mention what it can do. Sony’s 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme powers the upcoming XBR-A1E Bravia OLED Television, which boasts deeper blacks and richer colors than Sony’s past LCD TVs in a screen that’s 55, 65, or 77 inches across. But besides picture performance the new sets employ Acoustic Surface technology to turn the screen into a sort of speaker itself, sending audio out by resonating the thin panel to unify sound and image and further strip the television of distractions (here, conventional speakers). It also runs Android TV, with Chrome Cast built right in, so you’ll have no problem finding content to display even without a dedicated streaming box or Blu-Ray player.
