Solo Stove Bonfire
Creating a fire pit can have its fair share of drawbacks especially in terms of thermal efficiency. The Solo Stove Bonfire aims to address such a deficiency by providing you with an ingenious system that makes efficient use of preheated oxygen to keep your wood fire burning, giving you the heat that you need for all of your fire pit purposes.
Designed with two layers of 203 stainless steel sandwiching a vacuum upon which air is recirculated to keep fueling your fire, the Bonfire is a neat-looking outdoor fire pit that won’t leave any trace of stoked up ground and dead embers on the ground. Simply fill the fire pit with your choice of firewood, light it up, and watch as the air gets drawn from its bottom air vents preheating it before channeling it right on top.
In full burn, the Bonfire won’t create smoke that can get into your eyes. The secondary combustion delivered by the upwards-moving preheated oxygen allows the wood to burn more efficiently creating less smoke in the process if none at all. It’s the kind of fire pit that your neighbors won’t mind you having every night in your backyard as their home won’t be subjected to smoke.
But there’s another advantage to the engineering ingenuity of the Bonfire. It allows you to use less wood to keep your fire pit burning so efficiently. This can easily translate to fewer chores when you’re out in the woods as you don’t have to stray very far from your campsite to get the kind of wood you need.
It’s not really that easy to reinvent the ubiquitous backyard fire pit. However, Solo Stove managed to do so with the Bonfire and quite exceptionally, too. At last, there’s no need to dig up a shallow pit to enjoy quiet times around a bonfire.
