Ozobot Bit Coding Robot
Learning basic programming and coding languages is never easy. Not everyone can be a whiz when it comes to computers and information technology. Hence, they develop simple tools like the Ozobot Bit Coding Robot to help in the learning of basic STEAM skills. This is a system that allows a 6-year old kid to have fun while learning fundamental principles of STEAM.
There are two ways kids can learn simple coding concepts using Bit. The first is via Color Code stickers and markers. It is a more fun way to learn STEAM concepts. Bit comes with state-of-the-art optical sensors that allow it to follow the paths that children create using the markers as well as stickers. The process is more like a children’s activity book.
Watch Bit speed up or make fantastic turns. Program it to follow your child’s zigzag lines or go into a wonderful spin. There are 20 different Color Codes that kids can use to “program” Bit. The best part of the system is that children can also create their very own Color Code programs.
The second coding method utilizes Bit’s OzoBlockly visual programming. For this to work, kids should use a tablet or a computer to map the activities that Bit needs to perform. It is not a difficult task since Ozobot designed the interface with a drag-and-drop code editor.
The system comes in different levels, such that pre-readers can also help themselves in learning the system. Upon programming of the “code”, kids can then load the language into Bit. They only need to hold Bit in front of the computer or tablet screen.
Learning simple programming concepts has never been this fun and engaging. As such, elderly folks who may be averse to modern technology can also rely on Ozobot Bit Robot to help them learn.
