A followup to the original Onewheel, the Onewheel Plus doesn’t go about reinventing the wheel per se (apologies) but does bring along a few important refinements. Though it’s got LED headlights and taillights like before the footpads are now made of a curved hardwood that slopes up to a nose and tail kick for greater control. But the bigger changes are inside, with a faster, quieter hub motor that lets the board hit speeds of up to 19 miles per hour and improved sensors under the footpads for better feel and control. It basically rides like a snowboard, albeit one that can go uphill as well as down and that keeps on going for up to 7 miles per charge.
