The company known for besting flagship phones at a fraction of the price is back with the OnePlus 5 — and it’s got more than a passing resemblance to the iPhone 7, most differentiated by the presence of a headphone jack and a USB-C charge port. Still, this device nets you a hell of a lot of phone. Most notably, its dual rear 20-megapixel camera allows for shooting bokeh-style portraits, zoomed photos (since one of the two lenses is telephoto), and both faster autofocus and shutter speeds for trigger-happy snapping. Despite being thinner than before at just 7.25 mm the device packs a bigger 3,300mAh battery, and one that charges to a day’s worth of juice in just 30 minutes. Otherwise it’s got a Snapdragon 835 processor and 8GB of RAM to blast through tasks, up to 128GB of onboard storage, and, as always, runs a more minimal Android-based OxygenOS devoid of bloatware.
