Norton Core Router

Symantec’s been making software to protect your computer for over a quarter century. Now they’re aiming to better protect your digital life starting at its central weakness — your wireless network — with the Norton Core Router. This cool-looking geodesic dome looks good enough that you won’t need to hide it and packs some seriously hardware including a 1.7GHz dual core processor, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac compatibility, a 4×4 MU-MIMO foundation (which uses different antennas to serve different devices for steady performance), and a max throughput speed of 2.5 Gbps. More importantly though, and unlike all other routers, it secures your devices big and small (notably, vulnerable IoT devices) using various tricks like data encryption, malware and virus inspections, network segmentation, and quarantining, amongst others. Plus with automatic updates it’s always ready to go, though after the first year the subscription will run you $10 a month.
