Mission Workshop The Rhite Jacket
The Rhite is part of Mission Workshop’s Advanced Projects series. It is a high-performance parka that is perfect for keeping you dry and warm in cold weather. It comes with several neat features that can leave other so-called cold-weather apparel in the dust.
This parka-like gear features a unique breathable and waterproof textile. Mission Workshop utilizes MECPOR 4.0 in the manufacture of the main body of the cold weather gear. The textile can stretch in 4 directions, allowing you to move with ease. The company also laminated the ultra-light fabric to give it amazing windproof and waterproof characteristics.
It also added the Gold Hi-Loft insulation system from PrimaLoft to enhance its thermal abilities. The PrimaLoft also features the Cross Core system. Inside the shell is aerogel. This is a lightweight insulating material that is similar to the ones used in NASA’s Mars Rover and other applications. It can rival down’s warmth-to-weight ratio, without ever getting wet.
The Rhite also features a unique thermal liner. Mission Workshop used the 37.5 textile that offers ultra-high performance moisture management. It strikes a delicate balance between moisture levels and breathability. The system also prevents overheating that may result from a sudden change in ambient temperature or an increase in one’s physical activities.
This winter jacket comes with a pair of tricot-lined chest pockets and an interior zippered pocket. It also comes with an adjustable hood to help keep the head cozy and warm. Mission Workshop also uses only YKK waterproof zippers in the design of the jacket. The Rhite keeps you warm in 10-degree Fahrenheit weather.
The Rhite gives you peace of mind whenever you head out in the cold and windy outdoors. It does not matter if it is snowy, windy, rainy, or a combination of these weather conditions. The Rhite will keep you comfortable.
