Mercedes-Benz Concept A Sedan
It’s of course not a real thing yet, but the Mercedes-Benz Concept A Sedan excites us about things to come from the German automaker, in particular because this car (or at least the cars its design elements trickle down to) should sit in a middle-class-affordable price range. The car’s design is more minimal and continuous, with less creases and disruptive lines than its predecessor, and flush-sitting handles complement this. The deep forward-tilted Panamericana grille up front also evokes Mercedes-Benz’ higher end sports cars. Also, both the lower air inlet and headlamps feature striking grid patterns, with the latter’s coated in UV-sensitive paint that glows brightly. How much of this makes it to the brand’s upcoming compact sedans is to be determined, but we’re willing to bet the sweeping profile, refined sheet metal, and aggressive grille are here to stay.
