Lomography Daguerreotype Achromat Lens
Nineteenth century photographic tools meets twenty-first century photographic equipment. Lomography’s Daguerreotype Achromat Lens is inspired by the world’s first photographic optic lens invented by Louis Daguerre and Charles Chevalier nearly two centuries ago and encased in either a bold brass or glossy black shell. The 64mm lens works with the classic Waterhouse Aperture Plate system and produces a wide-ranging variety of image effects including ethereal, dreamy soft focuses, sharp details, and paint-like textured backgrounds behind your subjects. And they’ll fit onto your Canon EF or Nikon F camera mounts, or onto various other cameras — including the Sony Alpha series, Fuji X-Pro 1, and others — using optional add-on adapter mounts.
