Filson Chronograph Watch
Filson drew inspiration from its Field Watch to bring chronograph lovers the Chronograph Watch. This is a timepiece that has a simple and functional design. While it does not aim to beat luxury watches, the Chronograph can still make for a good timepiece for you to keep forever.
The 43-mm wristwatch features an accurate Quartz movement. It does not have the fluid motion of Swiss movement but it does ensure precision and accurate timekeeping. Filson also designed the movement to be as maintenance-free as possible. There is no need for winding the crown after every few days.
Filson also repositioned the date window on the Chronograph. Most watches have the window at the 3 o’clock position. Filson positioned the date window between the four and five o’clock indices. Such an arrangement allowed the brand to put two large subdials for easier tracking of elapsed time. Speaking of time tracking, the Chronograph comes with its push button to start, reset, and stop the tracking feature.
The stainless-steel case comes with PVD plating. It also engineered the crown as a screw-down type to help protect it from dust and shocks. The robust design of the Chronograph helps ensure that the internal mechanisms are safe from water immersions of up to depths of 328 feet.
Forming the cover of the dial is sapphire crystal. It is tough and can resist scratches. The dial features only two numbers on the 12 and 6 o’clock positions. The rest come in Indices. The combination of a dark background and Super-Luminova indices and watch hands make it super easy to tell time.
The Filson Chronograph Watch is a reliable timekeeping piece. It is elegant enough to complement your corporate getup. It also has a fun vibe to it that makes it ideal for your weekend adventures.
