Its name — the Ferrari J50 — commemorates the Italian supercar maker’s 50th year in Japan. Just like the car itself. The two-seater roadster is based on the 488 Spider and boasts the same mid-rear 3.9-litre V8 that won the International Engine of the Year Award this year, just now instead producing 680 horsepower, an increase of about 20. Its low-slung design is forward-looking not to mention aerodynamic, with a reworked front bumper, LED headlights, and a lower windscreen header rail. A polycarbonate cover at the rear also gives a glimpse at the engine for the curious. Plus it’s a hard top convertible, so you can leave the carbon-fiber targa top at home. Limited to 10 units.
