DJI Digital FPV System
DJI continues to lead the way in drone technology innovation. With the company’s new Digital FPV Experience system, drone racers and newbies alike will have an experience of a lifetime flying a drone. The system provides stunning resolution, maximum transmission range, and low latency rates for seamless video recording.
The system consists of 4 different technologies that work in a collaborative manner. There is the Air Unit Module, the FPV Goggles, the FPV Camera, and the FPV Remote Controller. DJI designed each of these elements to be industry-leading in their respective classes.
The FPV Air Unit features one of the strongest signal transmission systems in the world. DJI uses two antennas to help improve signal coverage, allowing you to enjoy the first-person view of the flight. There are also 8 frequency channels in the FPV system. This allows the technology to fly up to 8 drones at the same time. The platform also records video in stunning 1080p resolution at 60 fps.
The FPV Goggles provide a remarkable viewing resolution. It is not 4K quality but its 720p/60fps resolution is far better than the grainy images of other systems. It also provides 720p HD quality at 120 fps in live view mode. The best part is that spectators can join in the experience by setting their own DJI FPV Goggles to the Audience mode. It also integrates a focusing system, ensuring a clearer FPV experience all the time.
The FPV Remote Controller comes with an all-new improved user experience and a 7-ms low latency technology. What is admirable is that it can maintain seamless control of the air unit from as far as 4 kilometers away. The FPV Camera features a 150-degree wide angle lens with three camera modes.
DJI cultivates the drone racer in everyone with a more engaging first-person view experience.
