Discommon Straight Razor
Few companies boast a design process as strenuous as Discommon’s. Case in point: the Discommon Straight Razor. As with their previous creations, a hell of a lot of work went into designing this razor including over 200 hours of computer modelling on the handles alone. The handle is machined from either aerospace sourced carbon billet or titanium billet, the latter taking 3 hours per side and resulting in a micro texture across its surface that provides grip even when wet. It’s then paired with one of Joseph Bowen’s hand ground blades and packed in a custom leather and felt carry case by This Is Ground. Unsurprisingly, this comes with an appropriate price tag to match its premium appeal and limited edition run of twenty: ten carbon and ten titanium.
