Cuisinart Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker
Like most people, we struggle with our love-hate relationship with ice cream. In any event, we’re about to take it to the next step – moving in – with a bit of help from Cuisinart. Their ICE-21 Ice Cream Maker includes a double-walled freezer bowl filled with liquid coolant, a mixing paddle, and a heavy duty motor that spins your ingredients into creamy goodness. While it does take some time (roughly 16 hours) to freeze the bowl before use, it’s still much simpler to use than models that require the addition of ice, and once frozen, loading and running the device takes a paltry 20 minutes. With a 1.5 quart capacity and the ability to make frozen yogourt and sorbet, too (though who are we kidding?), it’s still surprising that this machine is set at such a dangerously reasonable price.
