It still plugs right into one of your television’s HDMI ports and relies on your smartphone as a remote for finding and queuing content. And if your deprecated wireless network hardware isn’t fast enough for this Chromecast (and upgrading is for some reason off the table), just plug it directly into your router with an ethernet cable for a solid connection.
