Apple Macbook Pro
The current MacBook Pro from Apple is not really a revamp of its predecessor. However, it did bolster some of its features—for one, its speed has greatly improved.
The MacBook Pro is slim, portable and relatively light at 1.37 kg., constructed from durable metal alloy. This means it won’t place so much weight on your bag or satchel. The unit features 4 Thunderbolt ports and users can configure storage for the unit of up to 2TB and memory up to 16GB.
Keyboard travel feels the same as previous models while its trackpad gains extra points for its excellent response and smooth feel. Like the keyboard, its Touch Bar remains the same. Then again, its functions will depend on the applications that you’re fond of using.
Whether under the shade or bright sunlight, users will get to view a full display without any disturbance. The remarkable contrast ratio makes it a good laptop for use under the sun. Its color accuracy is also one of the best in the business. Quite the good news for movie and graphics enthusiasts.
The MacBook Pro’s disk speed wins. Its read speeds are off the charts at 2281.1MB per second. Take into account though that this model was made for students and general-purpose users in mind; if you want to use your new Apple MacBook laptop for editing images and videos, you may need to check out faster, more powerful MacBook models.
Apple’s claim of 10 hours of wireless web use is a reach, really—the battery required a charge after 7 hours of web browsing with the standards (iTunes, YouTube, social media, email and the like). A full charge can take up to 1 hour and 45 minutes.
In spite of its drawbacks, the Apple MacBook Pro is still a dependable, efficient piece for general-purpose users.
