Anker PowerPort Atom PD 4
Anker is one of the trusted names when it comes to portable power stations. Its latest creation, the PowerPort Atom PD4 comes with the same engineering excellence that is now synonymous with the brand. It provides more power and high-speed charging in a design that is compatible with multiple platforms.
USB-C devices can benefit from Anker’s Power Delivery system that delivers 5V, 9V, and 20V. Its USB-A system features the brand’s proprietary PowerIQ technology with a maximum power output of 5V. These power delivery systems allow the PowerPort Atom PD4 to recharge different USB devices all at the same time. It charges them fast, too.
While most portable power banks don’t allow the charging of laptops, the PowerPort Atom PD4 does. It can recharge the Dell XPS 13, Matebook, and some models of MacBooks. These can include the MacBook Pro 13 and 15 inches and the 2018 MacBook Air 13”.
The PD4 boasts of a humongous power supply with a 100-watt rating. This gives it the ability to charge multiple devices at the same time. But what is more remarkable is the PD4’s Intelligent Power Allocation technology. This delivers the appropriate charging power to the devices depending on the type and number of connected devices.
The Atom also comes with safety features such as cell overcharge protection. It also comes with output overcurrent protection and a highly-advanced system for controlling its internal temperatures. The PowerPort also provides input overvoltage protection to help minimize the incidence of overcharging the portable power station itself.
It is very portable, too. The Atom PD4 only weighs 13.5 ounces and measures 1.3 inches thick, 3.3 inches wide, and 4.1 inches long. It will never take too much space in your bag.
The Anker PowerPort Atom PD4 is a small yet formidable power station for all of your mobile devices.
