1943 Volkswagon KdF Type 60 Beetle
Originally delivered to the chief of the Red Cross in Berlin, this 1943 Volkswagon KdF Type 60 Beetle — built only a handful of years after the original Beetle was conceived — was rediscovered in Poland 16 years ago and expertly restored using genuine KdF parts. The near immaculate vehicle boasts an original stealthy black on black paint job and only shows a bit more color on the inside — and on the driver’s door, which is emblazoned with a red cross over a white circle. It’s being auctioned off by The Finest, so if you fancy a mid-war Beetle along with all accompanying historical documentation, service history, and manuals, this may be one of the best chances you get.
