Manual Coffeemaker No1
Using a plastic pour-over coffeemaker to brew your premium roasted coffee is borderline blasphemous. Craighton Berman set out to make it better, and did, with Manual Coffeemaker No1. While it’s not the first sculptured borosilicate glass coffee brewing device to grace these pages, MCM is particularly effective at repeatedly brewing single cups of coffee thanks to its staunch, freestanding design that fits into an insulating bamboo base and looks great in any kitchen or office setting. While steeping, the brewer’s double-walled design retains heat, keeping temperature optimal for longer, and compatibility with standard Hario-brand filters (ubiquitously available on Amazon) ensures inexpensive restocking.
