The most forward-facing computer in recent years, we can’t say we ever really expected HP to be the company coming up with Sprout. Combining a 20″ touchscreen display with a 20″, 20 point capacitive touch mat and a projector, this system first and foremost functions as a “normal” Windows computer by projecting a keyboard or a second screen onto the mat. Its overhanging Illuminator, however, also boasts a 14.6 megapixel camera to intuitively capture photos, scan 3D objects, and overall let you get creative using methods we figured were still years away. And while it’s not specced up like a gaming rig, the Sprout still holds its own against more traditional devices thanks to its 4th generation i7 processor, NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 745A GPU, 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a 1TB Hybrid Drive.
