CST-01 World’s Thinnest Watch
How thin can a watch get? Pretty damn thin, apparently. CST-01 is not only the world’s thinnest watch but undoubtedly the lightest too, measuring in at a slender 0.8mm at its thickest and tipping the scale at 12 grams – roughly the weight of 5 pennies. This minimal marvel is made possible thanks to an e-ink display, a minuscule micro-energy cell that charges in 10 minutes and lasts a month, plus a Seiko Epson microcontroller to keep tabs on time. Charging and setting the time is all done via the included base station, making for an undeniably simple timepiece once on your wrist.
