Nixon Mission Smartwatch

Nixon’s Mission Smartwatch isn’t just your run-of-the-mill Android-powered timepiece. Though it’s indeed powered by the latter, the Mission is built tough: take it diving up to 100 meters deep, bump it around, or wear it while you’re tearing up the slopes. Its shock-resistant polycarbonate case features a raised stainless steel bezel to protect the screen, which sits behind Corning Gorilla Glass. Hardware-wise it’s run by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 system-on-chip and boasts a round AMOLED touchscreen display, an altimeter, a GPS unit, a thermometer, an e-compass, and of course a gyro and accelerometer. Which means it’s particularly well-suited to various sports including surfing (pulling real-time surf conditions from Surfline), snow sports, and swimming, amongst others.
