Nvidia Shield Console

Any new console hitting the market has one main concern: playable games. That already seems to be a non-issue with the Nvidia Shield, an Android TV console that’ll play big name, Android-ported games and stream 4K shows and movies without so much as a hiccup. The angular device packs a 256-core Nvidia Maxwell GPU, an Nvidia Tegra X1 processor, and 3GB of memory. More interestingly, the Shield is compatible with Nvidia’s Grid, a cloud of supercomputers that can do the hard work and stream you PC-quality game graphics in either 1080p at 60fps or 720p at 30fps, depending on subscription level. Just make sure your internet connection is up to snuff.
