LKPR No Comply Headphones

With metros, buses and coffee shops flooded with people wearing overhyped plastic cans, we all-too-gladly welcome LKPR’s hardy No Comply headphones. These mid-sized on-ear ‘phones are built around sustainable, naturally sound-insulating hard maple cups fitted with accurate 40mm neodymium-based drivers, the same wood used in skateboards for its borderline absurd durability. All other hardware perpetuates this minimization in use of plastic as well, made instead of aircraft-grade aluminum, steel, or leather, with gold-plated RCA plugs and cables that are easily replaced should they ever fail. The fact that they sport a handsome understated look and weigh in at a paltry 205 grams doesn’t hurt, either. And if you’re looking for something more personal, send in your old skateboard and they’ll craft it into a pair if you’ve got an extra Benjamin to spare.
