Oakley Airwave 1.5 Snow Goggles

Following up on their original Airwave model, Oakley’s HUD-sporting goggles just got an incremental but appreciated upgrade. The Airwave 1.5 sports an improved MOD Live heads-up display that’s perceived as a 14-inch screen 5 feet away, eliminating the need for refocusing, a GPS module for keeping tabs on speed and location, a thermometer, and sensors for tracking jump analytics including height and airtime. Other features include a beefed-up 6 hour battery, Switchlock lenses for swapping on the fly, smartphone connectivity for receiving calls, reading SMS messages or skipping tracks, and buddy tracking to locating Airwave-equipped friends on the slopes.
