Kickr Electrified Longboard Kit

Uphills pose a bit of a challenge to longboarders and the like, to say the least. While we’ve seen electric longboards before, they tend to limit your options in terms of customizability by requiring a given set of trucks, wheels, and often even a special deck. Kickr goes another route, instead attaching to your existing longboard – no permanent modifications required – via an axle-mounted motor assemble and a battery pack that holds on thanks to custom straps. Kickr works with virtually any longboard or wheel size,¬†propelling the rider, who controls it using sensors built in the strap, to up to 20 mph. Else, it’ll run for 6 miles per charge,¬†weighs less than 5 pounds, and adds little friction even when not in use.
