Weiss Field Watch

In our minds, batteries equates disposable (and rightly so, at least to a certain degree), so it’s no surprise that we relegate battery-powered watches to beater status. When we look for a new watch to throw ourselves behind it has to be mechanical, and preferably at a price that’s compatible with paying this month’s rent. Weiss Watch Co’s Field Watch fits the bill. Hand assembled in Los Angeles, their Field Watch packs a Caliber 6497 mechanical movement encased in a 41.5mm 100 feet water resistant stainless steel case that’s capped on both sides with sapphire crystal, showing off its handsome movement and a minimal, uncluttered face.
