Volta Sound Block

As far as visual appeal for passive iPhone amplifiers goes, Volta’s Sound Block is tough to top. This handsome vintage-styled tabletop unit is sculpted from a solid block of Northwest Alder, then sanded, stained, and fitted with a set of neodymium magnets for rigging up the easily-removable genuine Bison horn. Don’t expect it to top your home stereo – this is still an circuitboard-free passive amplifier we’re talking about – but this Sound Block is still perfect for casually blasting beats both indoors and out, especially in places where recharging other Bluetooth speakers just wouldn’t be feasible.
