A short fifty years ago Lamborghini came into being, and what better way to celebrate… well, itself, than doing what it does best? The Egoista, as the name implies, is a no holds barred supercar to be relished by its driver and its driver alone. With one single center-mounted seat, its cockpit screams of fighter jet styling – hell, it doesn’t even have doors; instead, the glass dome swings open for its driver to jump in. It’s also packing a 600 horsepower 5.2-litre V10 engine, a tweaked version of the one in the Gallardo, a carbon fiber and aluminum body, a heads-up display, its apache-inspired (and ejectable) cockpit, plus aesthetics so aggressively extreme that it looks as if it’s another 50 years ahead of its time.
Unfortunately, all three hitting production are already accounted for, had the price tag not been barrier enough. Check out TopGear’s take – $3,900,000
