Nexus Q

Meet Google’s latest play to earn a permanent spot in your living room. The spherical Nexus Q streams audio and video from the Google Play cloud or Youtube onto a connected HDTV. Instead of opting for dedicated remotes, Google favoured letting anyone with a nearby Android tablet or smartphone take the helm (with your permission, of course) to change what’s playing, queue up songs or even stream stuff from their own device. Other features include a 25W amp for powering external speakers, 16GB of onboard storage, a dual-core ARM A9 processor and a futuristic ring of LEDs that are never too tired to dance to your music.
