LuminAID Solar Inflatable Light

Good flashlights aren’t too tough to find (here’s what we’ve been using), but when it comes to a decent diffuse light or lantern for a fair price, it’s another story. Ideally it would be small, light, inexpensive, and easy to charge on the go – because it gets dark pretty quick when those AAs give out. LuminAID fits the bill (and even surpasses it a little): it comes folded up real small, yet inflates to better diffuse light (and to float). A solar panel on the face refuels the batteries in a quick 4 hours, enough to pump out 35 lumens for that long, or 20 lumens for 6 straight hours.
